Should your pet be scheduled for a surgery at Glencoe Veterinary Clinic, you can rest assured that that a veterinary technician will be monitoring your pet before and throughout the surgical procedure, accompanied by state of the art monitoring equipment and the most up to date surgical procedures. Upon completion of the surgery, your pet will be closely monitored to watch for signs of discomfort or post-surgery issues. Our goal is to ensure your pet receives the highest level of care and compassion during the entire surgical process, and communicate closely with you.
fter the surgical procedure is complete, we will thoroughly discuss an after-care plan, focused on reducing any discomfort your pet is experiencing, how to identify signs of pain, signs of infection, and restrictions that will help your pet rest until he or she is fully ready to participate in normal pet daily activities.
Prior to your pet’s surgery, please feel free to discuss with us any concerns you may have.
