Glencoe Veterinary Clinic Policies
All patients must be on a leash or in a carrier when brought into the hospital. This is to protect your pet and our other patients and clients.
Day Stay Appointments
For you convenience, we offer day stay appointments for established clients. During this stay your pet will have a full examination and the doctor will contact you with recommendation for diagnostic and/or treatment. We require a current rabies vaccination.
We make every effort to run on schedule with minimal delays. When delays are encountered, we strive to keep you informed as to when your pet will be seen. First time clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to your scheduled appointment so you have time to fill out paperwork. Please have previous medical records sent to the clinic prior to your appointment.
Emergency situations will always be given top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay may be encountered. We ask for your understanding and we strive to keep you apprise to the situation, so you will be aware of your wait time.
Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to their appointment may be asked to reschedule. In some cases, you can be seen in between other appointments, but there may be a significant wait time which our staff will keep you apprise to.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advanced. Appointments are in high depend and your early cancellation will allow us to give another patient timely veterinary care.
We require payment due at time of service. Surgical procedures may require a deposit at drop-off. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, CareCredit, cash and checks. We do not offer payment plans.
