Appointment Policies for New Clients
We require all new clients to pay a $50 appointment reservation fee to reserve their first appointment. If scheduling an appointment for more than 1 pet, each pet will require this fee. The appointment reservation fee(s) will then be credited towards the appointment scheduled.
If the appointment needs to be rescheduled and is done so at least 24 hours or more in advance, the fee(s) will remain on the client’s account. However, in the occurrence of a “no-show” and/or cancellation less than 24 hours, a forfeit of your fee(s) will result. Advanced notice of a cancellation allows us to provide services to another pet in need.
Waiting Room
- All patients must be on a leash or in a carrier when brought into the hospital. This is to protect your pet and our other patients and clients.
- If your cat does not come in a secure carrier, we will bring a pet shuttle out to you to ensure your pet is safely transported in and out of the clinic. We will charge a carrier fee for a new pet shuttle, which you can take home.
Day Admission Appointments
For your convenience, we offer day admission appointments for established clients for a fee. During this stay your pet will have a full examination and the doctor will contact you with recommendation(s) for diagnostic and/or treatment. We require a current rabies vaccination.
Traditional Appointment
We make every effort to run on schedule with minimal delays. When delays are encountered, we strive to keep you informed as to when your pet will be seen. First time clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to your scheduled appointment so you have time to fill out paperwork. Please have previous medical records sent to the clinic prior to your appointment.
Daytime Emergencies
Emergency situations will always be given top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay may be encountered. We ask for your understanding and we strive to keep you apprise to the situation, so you will be aware of your wait time.
Late Policy
Clients who arrive more than 10 minutes late to their appointment may be asked to reschedule. If a deposit reservation fee has been paid, it may be forfeited to cover the scheduled time. In some cases, you can be seen in between other appointments, but there may be a significant wait time which our staff will keep you apprise to.
Cancellations
Please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule exam appointments. For surgery appointments, provide at least 48 hours’ notice, or 72 hours’ for specialty surgeries, to avoid losing your reservation fee. Appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will allow us to give another patient timely veterinary care.
Payment
All payments are due at time of service. We require a reservation fee for all surgical procedures when scheduling. We also reserve the right to request this fee for any appointment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, Scratchpay, and cash. We do not offer payment plans.
